Week 17, Final wall for Treatment Building, progress in other areas.

Looking back to the work week that started on Sept. 21-

This week we saw the final concrete pour at the Treatment Building. This finished the western wall and concluded work on the single largest structure in our project. We first laid rebar for slab on July 15th, 10 weeks ago!

Here's a view of the pour from a distance, behind the PREM building-

This is the western wall the day after the pour as the forms were stripped-

In the meantime we were preparing to install the Effluent Force Main piping which runs south from the main site, under the Highway 5 bridge, under some railroad tracks and into a perforated pipe in a gravel bed. With several manholes along the way for pressure cleanouts and air release valves. Hmmm, still a bit of work to do!

With the PREM building south half being poured last week we were still stripping forms inside and out. Here's a few shots that show partial form stripping-

Meanwhile work continued on the north side of the building, encasing the rebar inside and out with concrete forms_

After 10 weeks of watching rebar go 16 and 24 feet high in two buildings here's one final shot before it's all covered up-

Also preparation continued in the Lift Stations- shooting elevations for final grade and getting drain rock and bedding in place, and that's all for this update!
