Week 22, Part 1- Operations Building & Wetland plantings

This week saw the beginning of a new building- Operations- and a change-over to the wet season!

The Operations Building is 15 feet north of the Treatment Building. Operations will house the Headworks Screening equipment and Laboratory for water quality testing among other things. The waste water goes through a portion of this building before heading into the main Treatment Building.

All buildings start with a straight line-

Then footings can be laid out properly and rebar installed-

Double check with a tape and a level-

Along with the Operations footings two sets of stair footings were constructed. One each for the PREM (Phosphorous Removal) building and Treatment Building-

We planted some landscaping for the Wetland Discharge area. Part 2 of this week coming up soon-
